30 Aug Stewardship Update & Events – August 2022
North Pond Gardeners & Corporate Volunteer Groups
The North Pond Gardners have been busy clearing litter from the shoreline and surrounding areas to keep the Pond beautiful and wildlife safe. They have also been working hard removing a myriad of late summer invasive and nuisance weeds like Canada goldenrod, velvetleaf and ragweed. We are grateful for their assistance and dedication!
Thanks also goes to our corporate partners who assist with litter pick-up, weeding, mulching and other tasks that help keep Lincoln Park an inspiringly beautiful place. Opportunities are still available for October. Email our Manager of Park Stewardship, Maeve Callaghan, mcallaghan@lincolnparkconservancy.org for more info.
Thank you to our August corporate partners who helped beautify Lincoln Park:

Upcoming Stewardship Opportunity:
Join us for Public Lands Day– the biggest volunteer event for public land in the country! Each year, on the fourth Saturday in September, thousands of volunteers work to help improve sites near them. From National Parks to local playgrounds and everything in between, we invite you to celebrate the outdoors by giving back to your park!
We will be hosting a stewardship event on September 24 that will include litter pick-up and removal of nuisance and invasive weeds. Please RSVP if you are planning to join us.
