“POND-ering Nature”: Works by Steve Slaske at the Lincoln Park Conservatory

Steve Slaske’s painting of the Lily Pool

The Lincoln Park Conservatory will feature the watercolor works of local artist Steve Slaske in the Show House during the months of September and October. According to the artist, “The pandemic lockdown caused me to turn my attention to the natural world and reflect more critically once again on what humanity is doing to our planet in our disregard for nature.” This vibrant exhibit shares Slaske’s works exploring the peace and natural beauty of Lincoln Park’s Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool. To experience it for yourself, visit the Conservatory Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 3pm to enjoy “PONDering Nature.” Reserve tickets for your visit at our Eventbrite page.

To see the artist’s complete works and for purchasing information, visit his website.   In addition, you can meet the artist in the Conservatory Show House on Saturday, October 16 from 10 am – 2 pm.
