We are pleased to announce that plans for North Pond’s restoration are moving forward with work to begin later this winter. The Conservancy is working closely with our partners at the Chicago Park District in the contractor bidding and selection process. We are being exceedingly diligent and thoughtful in our process to ensure that we select the right approach that minimizes impact on North Pond’s wildlife and maximizes the investment our amazing donors have made in order to make this project possible. Stay tuned for further updates and exciting news about the project’s start later in February and work beginning in the coming weeks.
