We had a wonderful time celebrating nature and the Park with our Walk the Pond families on September 18th! This year, we partnered with the Chicago Ornithological Society, Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum and Chicago Children’s Theatre to offer a variety of fun, educational activities to participants. We were delighted by the enthusiasm everyone had for seeing the birds of the pond, meeting the turtles, listening to the Green Heron walkie-talkie and exploring our water activities on the casting pier. And of course, the music from Alisa Rosenthal, and Twisticity bubbles and face painting were so much fun!
