28 Oct 2021 Annual Fund
Throughout the year, Lincoln Park’s beauty and tranquility provide an escape from city life. From the Lincoln Park Conservatory, to the Lincoln Gardens, the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool, the Sunshine Playscape and more, the Lincoln Park Conservancy is committed to preserving, protecting and enhancing this gem of Chicago for all.
As we launch our annual fund campaign, we’d like to thank the hundreds of volunteers who helped us to maintain Lincoln Park at its highest level in 2021. We’d also like to thank all donors to the North Pond Restoration project. With your support, we’ve raised $7.2M of the $7.3M project budget and are on track to break ground in November. In addition to our stewardship and restoration projects, we continue to assist the Chicago Park District by providing part-time staff and docents to safely open the Lincoln Park Conservatory to visitors after a one-year closure.
We have a strong foundation of success, but our most important resource is you. Your support of the Lincoln Park Conservancy ensures our vital work continues and grows to meet future needs. Our annual fund campaign provides critical operating support for our park programming and stewardship. This year your gift will also help us close the remaining funding gap for the North Pond Restoration. Thanks to a 1:1 matching grant from a very generous donor, all contributions will be doubled through the end of the year.
Visit our Annual Fund website to make a donation. On that page, you’ll notice that we are asking for your input as well as your support. The Conservancy is looking to expand the scope of what we do for Lincoln Park. To that end, we’ve developed a short survey. Your feedback is greatly appreciated as we shape our future in the Park. Finally, on that page you can also find a link to learn more about volunteer opportunities in the Park. We hope you will join us in giving back to the Park that gives us so much. Our greatest asset in our work is YOU!
Together, we have accomplished so much. Imagine what we can achieve together in the years to come. Thank you for your ongoing support!
