NATIONAL PUBLIC LANDS DAY at the NORTH POND NATURE SANCTUARY

The Lincoln Park Conservancy hosts a National Public Lands Day work day event at the North Pond Nature Sanctuary each fall. National Public Lands Day is an annual single-day volunteer effort held at thousands of public sites across America. At North Pond, volunteers will help restore the area by choosing from various tasks such as planting wildflowers, mulching trees, picking up litter, sowing wildflower seed, or assisting with soil erosion projects. Water, snacks, and tools will be provided.

Mark your calendar for our 16th annual Public Lands Day at North Pond on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 10 a.m. to Noon.

TO REGISTER, contact Lincoln Park Conservancy Site Manager Aaron Hammond or call (773) 883-7275 ext. 3.
