LINCOLN PARK FRAMEWORK PLAN OF 1995
Realizing the need for a long-range master plan for Lincoln Park (defined as the lakefront parkland from Ardmore to Ohio Street), the Lincoln Park Conservancy created a 30-page document "Lincoln Park: Preparing for the 21st Century." It became the catalyst for a four-year planning process with a consortium of government, advocacy, and use groups that resulted in the 1995 Lincoln Park Framework Plan.
From 1989 through 1995, the Lincoln Park Conservancy was a leader in the planning process and part of the steering committee. We raised private funds to design and print the 50-page master plan and produce the companion video "Lincoln Park: A Plan for the Future."
